We enable organisations and individuals to develop and grow, achieve results and enjoy what they do.

Our Career Transition (Outplacement) Services

We offer comprehensive premium quality outplacement services that cover all aspects of the career transition process.

With extensive experience of providing outplacement support to a wide range of clients, our services ensure:

  • Support for an organisation’s employees is provided during a challenging time – individuals being made redundant will receive the support and guidance they need to make their next career move as effectively and quickly as possible. Our experience shows that the top priorities for these individuals are likely to include resume preparation, LinkedIn Profile creation or update, networking techniques, interview practice and introduction to recruiters. Brockhurst Consulting provides full support for all of these activities
  • The organisation’s brand reputation is protected – the likelihood of retaining brand advocacy from those who have left will be maximised; we know that the sooner people can move on with their career, the less likely they are to be brand disruptors in the market
  • Remaining employees stay motivated and maintain productivity – those left behind will inevitably remain connected to those who have left; by providing professional support to impacted employees the organisation will demonstrate to its remaining staff the value placed on all employees and help sustain engagement and productivity for future business success
  • The organisation’s leadership is equipped with the right set of skills to effectively manage the transition process, including the difficult conversations relating to redundancy; our services include manager notification training and support
  • The sponsor is informed through activity-based reporting to ensure transparency of our services

Support for Impacted Employees

Employees whose roles have been impacted by organisational change will:

  • Have access to immediate on-site or virtual support following initial advice of redundancy (where appropriate)
  • Receive individual coaching support delivered in a one on one environment – face to face or virtually – by our experienced career transition coaches. Applying our Career Transition Framework, participants will be coached through the four stages of transition: Intention, Communication, Action, Landing. Each participant will spend different amounts of time, effort and focus on each stage depending on their specific needs
  • Be provided with access to interactive online resources to support the coaching
  • Gain assistance with the development of a marketing strategy, including a professional market-ready resume, contemporary LinkedIn profile, a confident “elevator pitch”, networking tactics and interview practice
  • Assistance with financial planning through a meeting with a Financial Adviser.
